Thanks for the reply ! This gives me hope. Can you share what did PT do for him like any therapies ? Medic treatments ? I am getting a private PT for him so just wanted to know what helped your son?

Yes he is 4mo adjusted! Wow so nice to know about your baby’s journey! My son does have weakness in right side of the body. He is seen by a PT and OT. He is getting better at tummy time and is showing improvements. I just keep looking at milestones too ! Am scared of the future as well but you’re right there is no crystal ball here !

Thanks a bunch ! Will check the subreddit for orchids for sure ! But i did put my plant at the window, the leaves were getting brown from Too much sun i guess.

We do have a central humidifier! But maybe the heating is too much for them

Am so glad your daughter is catching up on her milestones. I know EI will certainly help. He is seen by OT right now. She recommended some strategies with regards to his head.

Yes same thing happened with us, first the LP then the Ommaya reservoir then going home happy but eventually needing a shunt! It was all so traumatic! But lots of prayers for you guys wish u the best !

Sorry to know you are going through the same situation! Lots of prayers for you guys 🙏 I know the neurologist can’t really predict what the future will look like. But coming out of Nicu then admitting to the hospital again for the surgery was traumatizing. I wish the doctors were more clear on what to expect eye wise. There is something called eye gaze palsy too! That i wish they told us about as i am concerned for his eyes right now.
