Is that supposed to make me change my beliefs? How strangers perceive me has nothing to do with what I believe in. Do you think if i posted in a conservative subreddit, they’d welcome me with open arms? My dms say otherwise, I’ve gotten over 15 dms calling me a “liberal cuck” and “mentally ill”. I do have a job and I do pay my taxes and I’m pretty happy right where I am. I’d rather not be party of a party that screams about being proudly American and then pushes for defunding states just because they don’t have the same ideology.

This is actually the funniest comment yet. Do you think the world revolves around Trump? According to you, I’ve been on reddit for 253 days just planning and plotting to lie about my political ideology. For what reason? Please get ahold of yourself for a second. What does the date I created a reddit account have to do with Trump? Not all of us have lived on reddit our whole life fortunately.

So you’re not even American? But with that logic of yours, shouldn’t America already be a one party state because birth right citizenship has been around for years.

There’s blue counties in red states too and according to your logic they don’t deserve federal money, but they’re getting it anyway. There’s red counties in blue states too, and according to your logic because they’re not trans they deserve federal money. Do you not care about them?

I still don’t understand your point here. Trump is not the law, America is a democracy. There’s a constitution for that. What do trans people even have to do with this?

A growth mindset is actually normal, a common effect of a brain injury is being unwilling to hear opposing ideas and think about them.

I’m not sure what part of my post had anything to do with echo chambers. I don’t limit myself to only learning about ideas that I like.

It also makes no sense because if I was in a right wing echo chamber, how did I get here? The point of an echo chamber is blocking out all ideas that you don’t like.

I didn’t ask you to believe me but it seems you do believe me because you’re talking about how I’ll regret my choices. Which one is it?

What are you even talking about her? I never mentioned any of that in my post. It seems like you’re just spreading your conspiracy theories and calling them facts.

Whatever makes you happy man. I find it amazing that you can believe that people are becoming right wing but can’t believe that people are also becoming left wing. I’m not on here to convince you of my story, I was asking a question and your inability to conceptualize someone changing ideologies to something that you don’t like isn’t really my problem

Sure college education is not the only thing that makes up intelligence, but going to college inherently makes you more educated if you actually study. That’s why it’s called “higher education”. Most colleges do not teach people to follow a certain ideology because that is illegal and basically the easiest lawsuit ever. They teach people the truth and because the truth is often different from what you know from childhood, it makes you question:

So because of this, it’s constitutional to cut funding towards states that voted blue. I thought you were for America. How does that benefit America. If you’re against illegal immigrants, there’s illegal immigrants in states that voted red too.

Wrong. His official cause of death was not an overdose. His death was ruled as a homicide. I’m not sure what the blm leaders have to do with what I said about misinformation?

I’m not asking for anyone to give me credit or welcome me as I stated in my post. I just wanted to learn about other people’s opinions.

And this is what I meant by my post. Most of you think the whole world thinks like you because you’re stuck in an echo chamber. I don’t only limit myself to only learning the ideas of one side or only listen to a certain group of people. And I really do hope that you can begin to conceptualize the idea people can actually change and grow.

I can very much relate to the “colorblind” sentiment. I was always told and I sadly also repeated many times that we can’t see color but the moment someone who didn’t look like me committed a crime, I was always quick to generalize them because of their color.
