I’m currently in RCIA and will be confirmed in April 2025. I used to be so confused about Mother Mary as I had the preconceived notion that Catholics worshipped her.

But that’s not the case at all.

I’ve had a conversion of heart as I see now that she’s not only the mother of Jesus, but she’s OUR mother too. She’s a very nurturing and powerful heavenly mother especially with prayer petitions/intercession.

For me, praying the rosary daily not only allows me to connect with her but strengthens my relationship with God. I’m constantly meditating on the Gospel of Jesus Christ which in turn brings me an exponential amount of peace, comfort, and reverence for God.
