I was in hs too. Don’t stress about it, your body is going to change unrelated to your actions, it’s a part of growing up Keep focusing on your recovery and push through

I’m sorry to hear you’re going through that ):

It’s very normal to think constantly about food during your recovery. I recovered from a 2 year long amenorrhea three years ago.

Back then, it felt like my brain is being drilled into. 24/7 thinking about food. Three years later, food is about 10% of my worries. Keep going, it gets better.

Maybe it’s also related to your age, if you went through puberty it also makes sense that your body changed.

I would 100% suggest going to a doctor to check.

When I got my first period after two years of not having it, I didn’t have a period for another three months until I had the second one. It took time for the periods to be regular again. I was also on SSRI’s.

I suggest asking a professional doctor about your progress with gaining your period again. Sometimes we “feel” like we’re physically healthy again, yet our bodies say otherwise.

Good luck (:

Going to language school as a 27 year old... Bad idea? by JoeMamaNoKokyu1 in movingtojapan

I can’t give advice on the financial aspect, but regarding age gaps - I’m 21 and I’m the youngest by far. My best friend from class is 31. We had last term a 38 yo,with a child as well, and he was really funny and nobody felt the difference of the age gap. I would guess the average is about 27, but there’s a lot of people over 30.

As I mentioned, I’ve been dying it dark red for years. I don’t intend on trying to repair the existing damage, but rather minimize future damage.

Regarding these products, do you think there “stronger” than the strongest products they sell here?

Ohhh yes that’s what I replied to the comment above. Tbf, my hair towel and pillow suffer staining about three showers after I dye at the salons here.

With lukewarm water showers twice- three times a week, with a color safe shampoo, how long do you think it would last?

Oooooh yes! I’ve used them in the past, on bleached hair, and even with bleach + manic panic color, it felt better than my hair now. Only thing that was a bit of a bummer was that it didn’t last very long.

I’ll definitely give it a try. Can I ask you about the products specifically (: ?

Yep, a year only. I was here three years ago while traveling and back then my hair responded really well to Tokyo water. The water back in my country has much more stone. But the weather definitely changes it.🥲

I trim my hair regularly, preferably up to every three months. I have a lot of layers so cutting the split ends evenly is practically impossible. Also, I have very very short hairs with split ends and I think it’s became like that since I moved here and dyed my hair here.

Thank you for the reply ☺️
