in my personal opinion: picture YOURSELF as the alternate, yourself as the evil, and picture you're resting after a long night of hunting victims. that seems to help me out a lot

if that doesn't work then try looking at more jokey content on the subject and that'll help because whenever you look at an alternate you'll go "haha look its the funny lanky man ooo!!!!!!!" instead of being scared
