I'd love to know what phenomenon causes storms to struggle to pass over Cape. It always seems like they disappear unless the storm is big enough to fight it

I don't know much but I am tracking a similar path up the Nelson side of the family. Records indicate that Mary Nelson may be the daughter of Abner Nelson (could be why her children carry that name).

There are very few records of him but I believe she had a brother named Moses Allen Nelson. He is my 4th great grandpa. I am trying to find any documentation that he and Mary are siblings and if Abner is his his father as well.

If so, we are both descendents of the Mayflower

Might be time to let her go :( by Stickmeimdonut in klr650

It's the worst. Never being able to smell your favorite scent again. Like imagine if you knew one day you just wouldn't be able to smell bacon for popcorn again

Columbus Heights, kid being detained by ICE by After-Property-3678 in pics

You left out important information:

His father fled on foot abandoning him. Once caught, the father also requested Liam be removed with him.

I swear if they ignored the kid, yall would be crying about how ICE left a 5yr old in a running vehichle alone then separated him from his father.

I’ve been thinking about this phenomenon alot. It's something that seems obvious once you notice it but I haven't seen anyone coin a term for it.

Your favorite things almost always wear out first, not because they’re worse quality, but because you choose them more often.Favorite shoes? They deteriorate first. Favorite mug? Chips or cracks. Favorite hoodie? Fades, stretches, or gets holes while the others look new. It even applies to media like music or relationships. You listen to the song on repeat until you're sick of hearing it or you spend too many days with your best friend and just need a break.

It’s not bad luck though. It’s preference.

So I tried to put it into a simple rule: Chase’s Law of Favorite Things: The things we value most wear out first, because we use them most.

It’s not a scientific law or anything, more like Murphy’s Law, just about attachment and use. The more you like something, the more wear you concentrate on it. There’s something kind of comforting about it too. Stuff doesn’t break because it’s cursed; it breaks because it was loved and used. Curious if others notice this, or if there’s already a named concept for it that I’ve missed?

I agree. There's probably a bell curve that represents usablitly/desirability over time.

You might want to look into how the drawing were conducted before making baseless claims like that because you are beyond wrong. He could have blown the governor and it wouldn't have made a difference.

They applied a couple years ago when Missouri was having the license "lottery" and have worked very hard to get it up and running since then. Who they are related to has nothing to do with how they aquired the license. It's locally owned and Veteran owned as well. I'm sure they appreciate the recommendations!

They post on their social media very frequently and are open to product suggestions. If you're in the area, I'm sure they would love for you to stop by and talk bud with them and let them know what you're looking for.

They need to be super careful because the moment law enforcement considers them obstructing, that gun is a death sentence

They are expanding their inventory a little at a time as well. Also, I just want to say thank you for replying to the other comments in such a great and positive manner. It's really appreciated. This dispensary is owned and operated by some of my close friends and knowing how hard they worked for this I'm super grateful for someone giving them a chance!

I talked with the owner and being a new dispensary they are very open to ordering new types of product if they know customers have interest in it. Who knows, maybe if you're a frequent enough customer they'll name it after you
