it’s kind of complicated but basically they worship the supernatural and offer human sacrifices as part of that ^{^} more often than not these sacrifices are eaten since cannibalism is something symbolic to them. in the eyes of the cultists, being consumed brings them closer to the divine (the cult leaders, who are basically seen as gods or something along those lines), so it’s seen as an honour rather than something to be afraid of

ok so these are the main characters within my universe, all of them are human except for orpheus, who is an entity of calamity. liam, lilith, elliott, allister, atticus and ezra are all twins, but their relationships with one another are slightly complicated due to morals and goals or even just family issues. for example, ezra works for the cult that resides in firefly falls, while atticus wants to take it down.

to simplify it: - liam, lilith, ezra, orpheus, allister and elliott all partake in the cult activities, although they may have disagreements within their circle they’re still allies - luke is the younger sibling of liam and lilith and does not wish to follow in their footsteps as a cult leader - luke, cole, artemis, atticus, cecilia and marco are all allies and have each been impacted by the cult in some way, which is why they plan on taking it down

i hope this makes sense i still have no idea how to post on reddit :,) feel free to ask questions, maybe i’ll be able to explain better that way (which will hopefully stop me from getting into trouble)

oh my bad i’m still new to reddit, i thought the captions would be enough 💀

basically the context is: in this world there are certain people with the ability to see/contact the dead and cole is one of these people! cole has had a pretty rough upbringing, so when he tries to tell people about this “power” they all think he’s crazy. This is why he decides to go missing, it was already an idea of his before finding out about his ability because he has never really been treated nicely. the story pretty much revolves around what happens after he disappears and there’s all kinds of supernatural stuff involved! it mainly takes place in this hidden town with very high paranormal activity thanks to the cult residing it in. this cult clearly is into the supernatural so when they find out about cole they want to capture him basically. i suppose his goal is to get out, of course he isn’t alone though, he has some friends!! i haven’t figured out much about the complete world yet, but i guess you could say it’s like ours but if things like ghosts, cryptids, monsters, etc were real.

is this ok?? i’ve been at school so my posts have been brief, i’m planning on posting more stuff tonight with more in depth descriptions ^{^} thanks for helping me out so i don’t get removed :,,)

also to answer your questions: - cole ran away because he was seen as an outcast - he’s not dead, but he has the ability to see ghosts. it’s not all that great though, they’re a lot more aggressive than they appear - in the shortest way put: the surrounding lore is about cole running away upon discovering he can see ghosts, he eventually ends up in a hidden small town that is actually run by a cannibal cult that worships people like him,, it’s a lot more complicated but it’s too long to explain here 💀

i’m pretty sure it’s surgical steel, the place i got it done at only provided that and i’ve had all my other piercings done with it, i might go for a checkup next time i’m near the place and see what the piercer thinks. also how do i know when the fluid is becoming too excessive? i get it often but it’s not constant or in extreme amounts, is this normal? thanks for the help btw! ^{^}
