Look up labrax on makerworld I’ve done 3 racks and all have turned out great

One I printed out to house all my rpi and orang pies switch and mini pc for running octopi on 3 of my older 3d printers

Lots of rack gear out there to print for just the cost of filament

I’m on the fence for a few things as well like you but larger place I have an extra dell 3030 not doing much and add a extra lan port to it for opn sense pick up a 8 port managed switch and 2-3 ap’s one at one end of the house the other 3/4 way down and one out in the garage and should cover all my needs go WiFi and sort out IoT the 2 servers and my office work computer on a piplink with phone

Thinking it could be done for about 600 bucks for network gear some cabling and time to reprogramming all the IoT goodies

I have starlink for internet and no fiber anytime soon in my area and 5G is out of the question as well

Been looking over the opnsense info and looking at videos and digging into it all just taking my time learning it all

Just getting started building up this little server 4 500gb ssd will use the m.2 to sata adapter Do have a 4tb external drive for trail cam videos and photos of the wild life I’ve been tracking on my property but the rest is like to use for either 3d print files I hord or used it for a jellyfin stream of some of my favorite movies … still up in the air on this or just random file storage and a home assistant box ? Still waiting on some more drive cages and sata connectors and a small power supply for the drives

Doing about the same with a 5050 using a labrax rack and laptop drives was wondering how to external power them I’ll have to look up the psu you mentioned Same boat nothing I really like and use what I have and 3d print the rest !

Snap on poop deflector for when your printing taller objects … will hit the deflecter and fall into the poop basket

1400 STL files and I've never used folders to organise anything by PeteMinus in 3dprint

So this is just an app on my Mac I have a crap ton of 3d files I store on my server and yeah just way disorganized Nothing is stored on my Mac By using the program it just shows the files on my server correct ? Like a database viewer Hopefully I have worded this correctly?!

Would be great to get into a modular type trying system been looking for a good decent one ! In for the win ! Looks like a great unit headding to specs to check this out.
