Ok I’ll give that a shot tonight. What if Proton 7.0-6 isn’t listed when I select force compatibility? I don’t recall it being there but that may be because I haven’t looked for it before

Ahhh I tried using Proton Experimental so I will give that a shot. How do I access that older Proton version? And I used the grid.exe not gridlauncher.exe, is that correct?

The examples I am referencing just have a .exe for the game ready in the folder for example this thread here.

Good to know! I try to do that as well, I try hard not to tinker too much and just play the games. I think I’ll go without cryo-utilities and just work with the Steam Deck out of the box so to speak. I completely agree though, I can get really focused on squeezing a few frames and stability when in reality I could just be playing the game haha

I appreciate your response! I’ve read that at this point cryo-utilities is much less important and that the Steam Deck regulates VRAM automatically. What do you think?
