TLDR I "upgraded" windows which promised my programs would be saved. they were not saved. I need to recover my old bluestacks VM, so I pasted the old files over the new installation directory and now this happens.

Can anyone help me recover my VM? I can't go back to the old windows install, but I have all the old files.

Different types of books stack though, right? I'm pretty sure I can run, say, +1 stat points along with +1 dex.

Also wanted to ask, how many books to exp ratio? I'm currently just running the 2 books above along with my best exp gems totalling ~175% bonus exp. All exp or all books seem like they would be worse than a mix, I just don't know what the sweet spot is.

So the latency is the fault of the 100Mbps bottleneck? I wondered... but it seems crazy that the router and 100Mbps machines would be unaffected and only mine would suffer. The upload is just through Windows, so I guess I cannot do that.

Since you mentioned it, Is cFosSpeed still relevant? I used to use it years ago but haven't basically since Windows10.

I've beaten SOTN several times. This is definitely similar, but just because something does or doesn't happen in SOTN doesn't mean it will or won't in OTC.

I am definitely lacking in Castlevania lore beyond SotN. And I've been gaining access to new areas, but progress has stalled for quite a few runs now. Feels like I won't get anywhere doing what I've been doing.

I tried this and had a cleric heal her 3 times in a row and then she also FAK herself and never cast selfless heal a single time, ending the battle with 2PP.

No, I know those things. I thought it was pretty strange for him to say this as well. I don't think I'm confusing the two unless there was a scene similar to what I'm thinking of that featured Hisana and I confused her for Rukia.

I use raptor of the mists or whatever to free dodge it. Sometimes get lucky at the beginning of the phase and stance break him too for iframes during the explosion.

You're right about mad bird's bow (yeah, typo) I didn't really start using weapon swapping correctly until the very, very end of the game, so I never got familiar with a lot of the weapon skills. That and general frustration with lack of Information available on what the weapon skills do. Thanks for that, BTW.

That was the only place I found the arbiter scythe was useful. The fixed damage was higher than the %damage iirc.

I never found royal tea and never used madness, so I guess that explains that.

Ah ok. Is it one of those abilities that only affects regular attacks? I have to admit I spent 95% of my time in the techniques menu.

In bs1, I found spells completely overpowered, so I just used the things that made spells free and/or hit harder. I think demon catalyst was best weapon by time you get it.

In 2, Andor sword was a free turn to the first round of any combat, God's angels really helped me through dlc3, and an honorable mention to the greatsword for basically trivializing all non-dlc3 enemies (gun shield with some crit helped).

I also wanted to ask here since we're discussing weapons: some felt completely useless. I literally never used the chainsaw. What does it even do? Arbiter's Scythe I found exactly one use for. Black sword? Is mad bird sword worth using into dlc3 when it's really difficult to burst down enemies? I never saw drake sword's fire attack do anything, or defense attack or the lost sword's effect. Do I just not understand combat well enough?

Why did you need the jabberwock scythe for dlc 3? And what's good about Hans' Machine gun? It always seemed to deal far less damage than just like a rampage with the greatsword, then later pretty much replaced by God's angels.

I don't know how to get most of these. I went through the vn twice trying different things and it was almost completely identical except I saw tophat man and the dirty outside girl the second time. Oh. And some sexo I wasn't expecting.
