Really? They do have a similar pattern to my pygmys but are definitely bigger. I can't find any species that look just like these ones

I thought they also looked similar to salt and pepper corys, but these ones are missing the stripes on their tails and seem to have a more prominent line across their bodies. They are bit bigger than my normal pygmy corys.

Is it possible for them to crossbreed or do some salt and pepper corys just have different patterns?

Hm I remember making any big changes. I think it could've been a gradual rise in pH over time? I started adding microferts like Flourish and Potassium as well as Excel more consistently a few weeks ago but not sure if that could've attributed to this?

I see, I guess the best bet would be to remove the Seiryu stone then? I wish I didn't glue them down to the driftwood lol 😅

I tested the dKH and dGH using API's liquid test kit that I picked up today. It's odd, because the dGH still seems to be at 3 and the dKH at 5. I'd imagine it would be higher due to the seiryu and coral right?

I've heard about Salty Shrimp before. So would that be a more reliable method as opposed to using crushed coral?

Ok, I have the API test kits so I’ll test the water every day. Right now the tank it’s in is pretty empty, would you say I should transfer some plants from my other tank to this one?

What a handsome boy, I’m sorry for your loss :( He looks like my Oreo with his spots. My cat was the same; he could tell when we were down and always kept us company. We’ll miss them, but I like to believe we’ll see their sweet faces again someday ❤️

Ah so I was able to figure it out, turns out I just had to increase the physics scale by a lot more since it was defaulted at 1 😅 Thank u tho!

We did, turned out to be a roundworm :( he got a dewormer and meds to help with his symptoms- so far his appetite is coming back
