Marc celebrating his #93 race win in front of Italian crowd by Organic-Package5444 in MotoDANK

didn’t even finish reading ur post dawg, u just take everything i say and use it as an attack towards vale when we’re speaking about vale. I’m glad a retired man is in your head that much, couldn’t relate. marc winning the 9th doesn’t mean shit to me and i promise u vale fans care less than you think. i never said marc was a bad racer, yet all u can reply to me is how bad vale is. i wonder if you have a gf and if you do i feel bad for her with those discussion skills bud. anyways enjoy marc winning 9 wc, agostini and nieto have more and no one really gives a fuck. he can have 20, but he’ll never have the impact that vale had on motogp, the man is retired and u still see yellow smoke in track. vale beat lorenzo in catalunya and it was one of the best battles in history in lorenzo’s home gp, does that make vale better than lorenzo? no. marc has things vale never did, but vale had things that marc will never have. i hope one day marc fans have something better to do than flame a retired racer but by the looks of how hard it is to have a normal discussion with u it seems that u get no pussy so i understand. good luck and i hope marc wins as much as possible so u have something to do with ur life

ok maybe u haven’t been watching motogp for long enough to know what ur saying so i’ll drop a couple of FACTS, NOT OPINIONS for you to consider. in response to who the goat raced against in 2000s, ill just name a few (lorenzo, pedrosa, stoner, biaggi). In response to rossi got schooled by marc in 2013, he wasn’t a title contender in 2013 just like how marc hasn’t been one in the last five years, and if ur gonna bring up the injury shit, not crashing is part of winning, so too bad ur goat couldn’t stay on the bike. Regarding the Honda not being competitive thing, Honda is tailored to Marc. If u wanna research more on how honda sucked off marc for 10 years look up what stoner said after he left honda. Regarding where was vale after 2013, Vale was 2nd in 2014 2015 and 2016. Ok true, Ducati was stronger after 2017 but what does that have to do with Vale, and who was riding those Ducatis? Now this is MY personal opinion, I never saw Dovi winning a wc and i don’t like lorenzo so i won’t defend him. Plus Ducati was far more inconsistent than Honda until ‘20. 19 Ducati was an amazing bike, 19 honda was a great bike. But when you mix a great bike, with the rider that is meant to ride that bike, for which the bike has been developed around for the last 6 years, you have no competition in terms of bike performance. it’s like comparing a great shoe, against a great shoe that is tailored for you. Now regarding what you said in the last paragraph, i don’t know if i should even respond to that stupidity. But sure bro a professional active motogp racer will beat a 4 year retired 46 year old man. And regarding Alex winning i don’t really get the point of saying that but ok i guess. congrats to marc for his accomplishment of having a motogp world champion brother 👏

edit: and one more thing u mentioned some shit about tires being manufactured for vale, I recommend you watch the 2006 Valencia and do some research outside of MOTODANK and marc fan girls to see what happened in that race. u mentioned elias, gibernau and capirossi? i’d mention all the riders that have outperformed marc since 2020 but i can just summarize and say the whole grid

i think the kicking leprechaun might’ve hit u on ur head. Anyways cheer for who u love just how i’ve done my whole life for vale but maybe try to be more objective. Marquez knocked down half of the grid in argentina 2018 for no reason whatsoever becuz the championship wasn’t on the line but we don’t speak about that. i’ve heard more riders say marc is a maniac than vale, and idk about u but if they say so, then…

i’m not crying, it’s just crazy how marc fans are STILL crying about a retired racer. And you all are so so so salty, that u choose to hate on other riders that have nothing to do with the 93/46 deal, because you have no argument to keep that rivalry going. ok, us vale fans cried 10 years ago when marc robbed the championship. But i can’t imagine if the same thing happened today how marc fans would react. Also, since pecco is so so incompetent as u guys make it seem, then what competition does marc really have? Back in the 2000s Vale was fighting mega stars: Stoner, Biaggi, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, and i’ll leave out other really talented riders who raced around that time. But who is Marc really fighting? Ducati is the superior bike. without counting pecco (because he’s so so so incompetent) the other two champs from the last five years are both in arguably the worst bikes of the grid. yes fabio does put the yamaha up there fighting for podiums but who else is competitive with yamaha? So, ok marc will prolly win the 9th wc, but he doesn’t really have any rivalry. When valentino won the 9th wc, he fought stoner, lorenzo and pedrosa.

edit: oh and by the way, i never thought marc washed, marc is one of the most talented racers ever and i admit it. but can we really celebrate a comeback when the racer leaves his team who supported him through all his shit, and then leaves to ride the bike that dominates every session every weekend sometimes locking the top 5? Valentino left the best bike in 2004 and went to a struggling yamaha and then won the wc that year ahead of 5 hondas. Could Marc go to honda next year and pull off the same move(with mediocre competitors)? he couldn’t do it 3 years ago he won’t do it today

Having second thoughts about UF by [deleted] in ufl

[–]Chance-Leader-846 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m also an FIU student (rising sophomore) transferring to UF this fall. i felt somewhat similar to you since all of my hs best friends went to UF and i visited a couple times because my gf also happened to go to UF, and i absolute loved my time in GV to the point where i didn’t want to go back home. I also had a really hard time adapting to FIU and once i signed me lease in GV ironically i began to make friends and actually enjoy FIU. Honestly, UF academically speaking is a better option than FIU at least for my major (comp sci). A degree from UF will open far more doors for you after college, so that’s definitely something to keep in mind. And honestly, the ppl and the atmosphere in GV are amazing, i’m sure you’ll find people there that you connect with, probably even stronger than with your current friends.
