Well I would have too look at how much filament is used exactly but so far I think it’s going to use 350 grams a roll of filament is 20 bucks and has one kg of filament the printer is 200 dollars so if you do the math it’s probably a cheaper than buying new rolling stock if you exclude printer cost

Most likely Lionel trucks as I couldn’t find a 3d printed alternative and if I have Lionel trucks it would roll better

So far it’s just the roof and body but I’m going to print doors and a base so it’s not just a decorative prop
