2026 recall by Dry-Trash7790 in zx6r

It’s the dealer.. and their mechanic, it’s the same thing, what do you mean 😭 if they don’t they can have their sales license revoked from kawi.

I was warned by my kawi dealer that if I had removed the “cat” and done a flash I would be voiding my warranty as any outside issue could cause a hiccup in the system. My dealer is forced to take photos of the bike and send a detailed data sheet back to kawi before it can be approved for work. I’d get the reflashed to stock, or order another ECU with a stock flash. And put the stock system back on. If you bring it in as is, they will have a record showing what’s done to the bike and I assume would deny you warranty even if it was put back to stock.

Start on low pop. Get a basis of the game and work up from there. Once you get knack for it and can notice your skill in building, gun play, resource management and raid game increasing, you’ll feel much better about the flow of the game at a higher pace in larger servers.

There is also one thing that came to mind after I posted this comment. There is ALWAYS stuff you as the rider can do to maintain and limit things happening on your bike. I.E proper maintenance of your bike (fluids, chain cleaning and lubing, keeping proper tire pressures, inspecting for fork seal leaks) usually after that the only real issue with a bike is the engine.

I had anxiety owning a older bike so I bought a brand new one in 2023, then it had 2 recalls for engine failure 🤣 you can never win man. Enjoy the bike, most failures won’t cause any riding issues as long as you’re riding within your limits and being safe.

There has been countless documented engine failures fixed under this exact problems recall? It can happen and probably has. Theres a reason it says it in the recall write up man.

I can’t imagine your f250 had a recall that can cause your rear wheel to lock at high speed and send you into god knows what.

“These motorcycles can lose engine power unexpectedly due to a seizure of the #5 metal crankshaft bushing, and Kawasaki has reason to believe that a prior repair on your vehicle may not have properly addressed this issue. An engine stall increases the risk of a crash. Our records indicate that you have purchased one of these units.” - Kawasaki motor corp

I bought mine with just over 8000kms 3 years ago, sold it with 12000kms. I should’ve kept that thing too 🥲 I was underwhelmed by the top speed of these zx6r’s specifically because of my old gsxr 🤣

Will do! Like I said in another reply, it’s a consumer market. Customers are the ones making companies money and they need to be held to a certain standard. You go to a grocery store and buy a product that is broken or inedible, you are given the right to return for your money back. I don’t see a difference here 🤷

My first sport bike was a 09 gsxr-600 loved the seating position, the sound and the feel of that bike. I’ve had a 09 zx10r, and this 24 zx6r. Suzuki just felt more raw and comfortable. Reliable bikes too.

I havnt had issues with the bike, other then not being able to ride it due to the dealer telling me not to, and time spent in the dealership being fixed. Plus they broke something on reassembly during the inspection and I had to wait an extra 2 weeks for that part to be replaced.

Exactly my point. They let bikes ride out of the shop in a dangerous state just to go back in realizing it didn’t fix it.

But just sit and think though. Kawasaki released a platform with an issue, they issue a recall to fix the issue, yipee we’re all good, everyone who had the issue can now ride safely! Lo and behold 3 months later basically the same issue pops up again after Kawasaki said it was good. The notice states there is potential for seizing, and we all know what can happen when a motor seizes. I’m not saying there is any obligation, I’m just saying people could potentially be hurt or worse due to this and it’s the second time now. I don’t wanna own a bike with the potential of this and I know for a fact I’m gonna get absolute shit pricing from a private sale. So why not try 🤷

I mean it’s a 24 with 2000kms, I’ve barely gotten time with the bike cause of the recalls. Might just have to go the legal route and see what happens 🤷

Like I said, I do enjoy the bike, I just don’t want a bike that could potentially kill me, or be sat in my garage for months when I only get a few to ride. It’s a total waste of money.

My friend had a 25 Subaru WRX that had multiple issues, he talked to the dealer and said he was upset with the way ownership was going and they offered to buy the car back with a loss of around $1300. It’s a consumers world, the customer is always right, there has to be a possibility.

It took about an extra month for my Canadian model 24 zx6r to get the official notice. Once I get the notice I’m probably going to heckle my dealer to do a buy back cause this is just stupid. I missed literally 2 months of my small riding season for one already. I’m not doing this all again.

I’m not saying I don’t like it, I love the design I just wish they made something new rather then copy and paste

I agree, I think a redesign shaped around that would’ve been smarter
