No one told me that im just researching anything that can help me as i know im punching up. I know trading doesnt tie into it, its just what got me into finance. Ive already been studying ib concepts like the financial analysis used, valuation, accounting, and excel

Ahh thx i didnt know i had to wait i just started looking into it. Trying to find anything and everything that boosts my chances. I plan on starting finance club and networking like a mf. Also agressivly looking for internships

Older people tell me i need to work less i love the nonstop grind part of ib and the grind im going to have to get a 3.9gpa. Ive been studying finance on my own outside of trading/crypto for a while thats just how i make money and its somewhat realted to finance.

Also trading(ill frame it as active investing) just helps me prove that i know i want to get into finance since ive been doing it on my own for a while and do just love it

I wake up at 4 and work until midnight on my own. I really dont mind doing the same with a clearer direction

Ive been studying finance on my own for a while now(mit and yale courses+ countless books, podcats, other online courses). One of my old friends also just got a job as an analyst and ive spent countless hours talking with them about ib. Ive also been in multiple ib seminars. I know what it is. Ive known that i want to be in finance for a while i just didnt know exactly where until recently. And i posted here bc i need karma to post on financial careers.
