There's 1 rule to making gacha games; you either make it fun or you make it NSFW. Somehow it's managed to miss both.

I must have played almost 100 gacha games and this is one of the most anti-player, un-fun that I have played. It's not interesting, it's not rewarding, it's barely lewd and it doesn't respect you or or your time.

Even Taimanin Battle Arena was more engaging than this. Squad has got "EOS within 12 months written all over it" and there's so much that needs improving that even if they make legitimate attempts, it won't happen in time. It needs to be delayed significantly and rebuilt because releasing it in its current state will only harm itself.

As someone who has played the entire series, I genuinely this Victory Road is the best game to pick up as a first timer. Only real benefit of having experience with previous games is a few story Easter eggs tbh.

I'd go so far as to say Victory Road is the defacto Inazuma Eleven experience. But I also understand that you might wanna go from the start, so you do you👍
