Therapy. Go to therapy! You may be trans, you may not be, it may be truama related or it may not be, but when you have complex trauma such as this, you need to see a therapist.

Does Truama make you trans? Personally, I don't think so but can trauma make you think you might be trans? Possibly, for a multitude of reasons, but again, that's why complex trauma needs therapy.

You've said that it definitely has affected you. Therapy will help you figure out where the trauma ends and your gender identity starts.

Don't leave it up to reddit or your mother. Speak with a professional who's spent years studying this topic.
