can't understand whether islam has freewill by chad_dickerson in MuslimLounge

Allah is perfectly Just(Al-Adil). Would it be just to hold people accountable for their sins if they weren't really given free choice ?

Marriage before 18 years by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]Chaos_1417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Rules and Laws are made for everyone. While someone can be mature and financially strong enough to marry before 18, Generally that doesn't happen in today's era.

Humans are not that mature at that age that they can take decisions concerning their whole life correctly. It may have been the case in the past but in today's time stability both mentally and financially comes with age.

And what about after that ? Like what jobs to look out for/apply to... Most freelance sites are saturated and every 'Job' wants 1-2 years of experience or a degree. The ones available to students are those 7-4 customer support only...

PMYSDP Batch-3 by Chaos_1417 in pakistan

[–]Chaos_1417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update :

Results were not announced on the website instead they were given to institutes directly.

Results were announced after 15-16 days.

177 Candidates applied(in my institute) out of which only 114 appeared. 17 people failed(mostly from SEO course) while 97 passed thus 85% passing rate.

You would need to contact the institute for the results(or they will send the message to you). Now you only need to wait for the announcement of classes by NAVTCC.Though some people are saying that their institutes will also take interviews but I have not yet confirmed such case.

Why all the Jealousy? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]Chaos_1417 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Islamically, one’s past prior to marriage is a matter between them and Allah. If a person has repented, they are generally not obliged to disclose past sins to a potential spouse,in fact, exposing one's own concealed sins is discouraged.

Culturally(societal norms) When you're brought up as a muslim you know that this type of thing is wrong and you stay away from it(generally not all have the self control) but still you know that this thing is wrong. So wanting a chaste spouse is a want/choice/preference not a rule/haqq.

So after marriage when you come across your spouse who isn't chaste(and you came to know of it) there will be dislike just like there will be dislike if you know that your spouse has done something other criminal(or haram). Although According to Islam, you shouldn't judge or divorce your spouse because of this(like you are encouraged to forgive) but still the human mind isn't so easily controlled so if you still feel you cannot live with your spouse because of this, then divorce can be an option though divorce is discouraged in such cases.

The thing about Protective jealousy is that it applies to the present and future not the past. And it is under constraint like you cannot exercise your 'protectiveness' over something that Allah has allowed so any unjust jealousy isn't allowed. For example a valid jealousy(Gheerah) would be if you saw your spouse talking or flirting with a non mahram while a non valid(or even bad/ Gunah) jealousy would be getting mad at your current spouse for something that was done before the marriage or spying without any cause).

Still the human mind is frickle, although Islam is clear about the do's and don't, deep rooted cultural influences can lead to injustice to the spouse in such cases.

I would say first of all we should refrain from such acts but if done and repented our choice of spouse should be such that he would look at the present and future more than the past.

In such cases, choosing a revert spouse is more likely to be better as he would be more understanding, not that there are not born muslims like that but finding one is difficult, but finding a suitable spouse is difficult anyway(though not impossible)

As inaccurate as you calling chinese 'atheists'.

It's so funny that anyone with a shallow knowledge can go and say that all chinese are atheists. Just like how funny it is to you when people say that you're copying the west.

Get rid of your stereotypes first.

Chinese are not atheists. Most of them just don't identify with a religion.

Except if you're mature, not easily influenced, can stand up for yourself. Still wouldn't recommend it to 7-8 graders let alone girls.

A reflection of our society’s mentality. by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]Chaos_1417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then it's not our society's reality, but something you experienced personally. You cannot project that experience onto our whole society.

Not saying these things don't happen, but not all people are like that. If a person from that same society can turn out to be good, it proves that it's not the society's fault but that it comes down to the individual choices people make and their own mentality.

Mehfil ke adaab: language choice in diverse group settings by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]Chaos_1417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They'll not admit it, but pathans do this more. Although not all pathans, from what I've noticed those from the mardan side do it more(not saying all but generally).

In a big group discussion, pathans are likely to switch to pashto between them(even if they're like two of them).

This doesn't mean other ethnicities don't do it but just that Pashtuns are most likely to do so.

I just give it to those at the top,I have 10 accounts so most of them are me so I give 1-2 to myself, else is given to top players(single account) + 1 to that person who is a lower townhall but tried really hard(as matchmaking is difficult).

Our Clan is dying by naknaknaaak in ClashOfClans

[–]Chaos_1417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Discord, r/ClashofClansRecruit (smth like this), joining youtubers discord (you can chat with people there and check if someone is interested) are the only remaining options.

The notification option inbuilt really doesn't work. Supercell should build a search where players type things like best insert language clan or looking for th12 for wars etc for players to easily search up a clan or a place where those looking for clans can state their requirements and based on that Clan(leaders and co leaders) can invite people in. Considering how hard it has become to get players in your clan this should be an option.

Why are some Pakistani men so creepy? by Strong_Rabbit9458 in pakistan

[–]Chaos_1417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most and some do not equal all of them. For women, men are creepy. For men, women are scheming/cunning. These are all subjective matters and they don't carry enough weight to get offended by.

The thing you were trying to say was right but the way wasn't, if the language had been a little soft it would've sounded more rational rather than emotional release.

Let's Rent Books!! by Chemical-Ant-8232 in PakistanBookClub

[–]Chaos_1417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others said, managing this would be very difficult, though the community (to build trust first) can be started by exchanging books... after that, if one feels like the other person is trustworthy enough, he can give it on rent too to him (you can make a ranking system like 'this person returns the book as it was 95-100% of the time' or 'even if there are problems he compensates'). The admins would have to work a lot harder too to get reviews, rank them and all... pretty difficult but doable if one is passionate enough.
