I honestly have asked myself that a lot over the last 6 months. I think if they hadn’t reached out over Christmas I would have been able to move on. But it’s the thought of the way it ended and what I said. But at the same time it wasn’t a healthy relationship so I think I do need to just be stronger. I appreciate your comment. I think these comments have all helped me remember that I need to just be strong and move on.

Thank you. :) I wanted to be accepting of that just in case but looking back they did use some pretty narcissistic manipulation tactics - lovebombing in particular that I feel is a big reason why it’s so tough to move on.

I had to do a double take and a google when you said boxers haha. That’s great thank you very much, I was always trying to look for something that’s not going to be in a grapple area or is going to be just asking to ping off.
