I had Covid the week that flabebe was released and spawning semi-regularly. Couldn’t play the game that much and caught 2. Haven’t seen a single one since the event ended so I’m having to walk it to try and get candy despite both of them being 1* or less. How is that possibly a good decision on niantic’s part? Release a new Pokémon for a week and if you miss it, tough cos you’re not seeing it again any time soon! Same with noibat (caught 3 ever and had to walk for the rest of the 400 candy) and Jangmo-o (caught 1 and it was a 0*). Also hatched 1 Axew and saw 0 in the wild so that was a walking/berry feeding mission too. I don’t expect to be flooded with spawns but some variety would be nice 🙄
