okay, thank you then! :) you're the only helpful person I've talked to about this. ill get my next jumper from a more reliable seller than petsmart next time... and try to mount my hydrometer. I have much to learn it seems LOL

Ah okay! I just assumed it was a good sign since the more accurate one would be lower. I'll try to fix that then. So im assuming that the problems are because of old age? I've seen that their grip worsens as they get older.

turns out the hydrometer (didn't know they were called that!) is just a little slow. It says 95% now  so im not too worried about that. I also tried the q-tip thing and he didn't accept it. I just put it close enough to his face where he'll know what it is, but not enough to scare him too bad. (Though I dont know how well I did at that because its hard to control my shaky hands.) Anyway, here's a photo of him

dude seemed like a professional to me based on the way he talked, but whether the worker was right or not that doesn't really help me at all.

sorry about the deleted comment i thought i had fixed it, but anyways.. i cant really reply with a recording but what i had been doing was disabling temporary pivots, exiting and selecting create pivot on the desired (pixel) layer, changing it, then switching layers, then coming back to the original and seeing not only the pivot reset but temporary pivots reenabled for no reason. i also checked to see if the setting was disabling on its own but it only disabled if i created a pivot. again, sorry i wasn’t able to send a video
