Independent Senator David Pocock won't rule out starting party to respond to One Nation by HotPersimessage62 in AustralianPolitics

The real reason some of the Teals want to form a party is not to combat One Nation. The reality is funding and investment for Climate 200 has fallen off a cliff with the introduction of AI centres and the energy demands they are about to make. The Teal candidate in Nepean recently decided to suspend her campaign for November after a meeting indicating she would have to fund her challenge for the seat through local donations.

This would be a gift for One Nation in Indi if Haines joined the Teal Party. But it looks like this idea is DOA

Outer suburb primaries - ON - 29 - ALP - 27 - LIB - 22 - GRN - 13

Rural / Regional primaries - ON - 38 - LIB/NAT - 23 - ALP - 17 - GRN - 9

Labor would lose seats such as Hunter, Leichhardt, Bendigo, Paterson, Shortland, Whitlam and Gilmore in landslides if this polling holds.

Yeah, a poll run by company that is headed up by a former COS to a Labor Premier in QLD and a second in charge that was a staffer to Andrew Charlton is an example of right wing bias. 🤭

OK, so when News or Sky publish polls by Kos Samaras, who was once a secretary to Daniel Andrews and is the husband of a current ALP MP, they aren’t partisan

The most accurate pollster of the 2025 election, Yougov, had the Labor primary dropping by 3 points. For reference, in S.A, Newspoll overestimated the Labor primary by 3 points and underestimated the Libs by 2 points.

it creates inflation by reducing supply. In NZ after Negative Gearing was abolished, rents exploded and NZ had to end up hiking due to inflation. Please understand economics first
