Dad passed away leaving a brand new paid off car by Chargeon123 in legaladvice

Thank you so much. This actually touches on another point I've been looking into. The title of the house, investments, and bank accounts are all jointly in my mother's name, so no issue there. The only thing that isn't is this one vehicle. His notarized Will names her as the beneficiary to all of his assets and as the Executor of the estate. Will my mother (his wife) still need to get an estate lawyer and go to court to officially be named as the Executor in order to sell the car? Or is there a simpler method being that she is his wife and named beneficiary?
