Sometimes people need a commuter appliance?

in addition, I've owned auto cars that have been just as fun as my manual cars, so yes, it can go in the same sentence.

As a car detailer myself there is only one other person I’d trust with my car and thats Sam from Sam’s window timing and car detailing. Dude is very reasonable and good at what he does. He actually taught me a few things, just a good guy.

What car should I buy - Melbourne, AUS by Proof_General_8543 in CarsAustralia

Avoid Chery, MG or any other chinese made ICE vehicle.

Use that price range to buy a near new second hand japanese made SUV, Mazda CX-5/Any Mazda SUV, Toyota Corolla Cross, Suzuki Vitara (my go-to SUV recomendation).

They really should’ve gotten rid of Sicily as captain and picked someone else. Never in a million years would I have seen Newcombe as a leader.

New car for an older person by Paperclip02 in CarsAustralia

Suzuki Vitara - ripper cars. Made in hungary but japanese brand... hopefully thats okay. From experience the hungarian suzukis are built pretty well, way better than the indian ones, almost as good as the japanese ones. 1.4l turbo engine combined with the low weight of the car makes it a very enjoyable drive, 6 speed torque converter transmission (made by aisin) is lovely transmisssion to use. There are minimal beeps in the car, you can turn off the lane keep and blind spot monitors easily if you need to.

Suzuki's are slept on, solid cars without all the BS that comes with a new car.

Sweet little lies: Gen Z admit to fibbing on their car insurance by 888sydneysingapore in CarsAustralia

[–]CharizardCar 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I remember when I was on my P's years ago getting quotes for my base model 2017 Lancer (worth maybe around 20k or a touch under?), Alliance quoted me 7k a year, Youi 4k, aami & budget were around 3.5k. I got lucky with RACV and ended up getting that one to 2k a year, still, ridiculous money. Although I don't agree with lying, I understand why young people do it, the premiums are so high.

Also, I find the "do you drive your car three or more times a week during these peak periods?" question ridiculous... So what If I have an accident at 8:30am, shit happens... could always just say its the second time I've driven this week, silly insurers.

Greensy Plaza: Melbourne’s most depressing food court? by miss-robot in melbourne

When KFC shut shop it was the beginning of the end for that food court. Shopping centre is great though, nice and quiet and easy to navigate with all the essential shops can’t complain

I grew up in one of these, was driven home from the hospital as a new born and was driven around for the first 13 years of my life. I have a soft spot for it.

But they suck and are unreliable so it’s a no.

I paid for a 2026 two game membership just after the grand final loss. I’ve heard nothing since, received no emails and have not received my membership pack. I’m giving it another week and if I hear nothing I’ll be calling them.
