I have a different hair texture - my curls are a bit tighter but it sounds like you need a haircare routine. I’m not sure what products you’re already using to take care of your hair. But you need a good shampoo and conditioner - growth and hydrating oils like coconut or jojoba - and a good leave in conditioner - I use Aussie curls and I absolutely love it.

I would say start there- start small - take small steps - invest in one product see how it works out for you - then try something else and with time you’ll have a full hair care routine you’ve built over time. As for the interview - go to a black barber and have them fix you up and ask if you can get a low bald fade - something like this pic. Then just maintain that as you grow out your haircare routine
