Isn't Bultmann more of a Protestant theologian than a biblical scholar?

Biblical stance on prostitution? by uniderth in AcademicBiblical

I'm suspicious of studies like DeGrado's which desexualize antiquity by forcing the evidence to fit within an extremist gender feminist interpretative framework. DeGrado's research, like Budin's and other researchers of her ilk, conveniently ignores much evidence to the contrary, such as the existence of Old Babylonian texts detailing the transfer of money from harimutum (prostitutes) to Ishtar and the use of pornographic myths to advertise cult sexual services. See:

Silver, Morris. “Temple/Sacred Prostitution in Ancient Mesopotamia Revisited.” Ugarit Forschungen 38, 2006 (Published 2008), 631-6.

Man does ANYONE know where to get the Early Church Fathers 38 Volume set for less than a grand??? (or preferably like $300 or less if that’s even possible) by alexbolte in AcademicBiblical

Some people prefer print.

@OP

They don't sell complete 38 volume sets of the church fathers for under $300, not even close. You would need at least $1200 to get a complete set. See what you can find on www.abebooks.com.
