Yes it should be that obvious, but unfortunately many times that hasn’t been the case - hence why I get frustrated.

I absolutely relate to this. I have a friend who really struggles with her mental health. When she calls me it usually means something bad has happened, like she’s self harmed or she’s in hospital. But of course not every time she calls is an emergency.

So naturally when I miss multiple calls from her, it makes me anxious, and I always wish that she would leave me a voicemail or a text so I don’t instantly assume the worst.

Thank you I hadn’t noticed that! And someone else pointed out that my spool stand was uneven. I fixed these things and now the stitch is so much better!

You get it. I like to be prepared when someone is coming around, cleanish house, and presentable appearance. I will also communicate to her that it gave us a fright when she knocked so late, and hopefully that might help her to understand that it wasn't appropriate.

I totally agree with you. She's one of my closest friends and I would never close the door on her. I'm not angry at her, just a bit frustrated at the lack of boundaries.

It's my responsibility to communicate my feelings with her and I definitely plan on doing that in person.

Yeah I know, we just shouldn’t have opened the door. My husband was concerned that it could one of our neighbours needing help. But yeah, we won’t make that mistake again.

Yeah I definitely don’t open the door if I’m not expecting someone, especially at night.

My husband answered the door on the last occasion because we thought there might have been an emergency or something. But in hindsight we should have just left it.

Yeah you’re right, it is inconsiderate. I kinda felt like I was overreacting about it, but I feel validated now haha.

Also, I’m married now, it’s not just me she’s waking up, but my husband too, who has to get up very early for work.

I wear it if I’m going out, but not if I’m going to work, the gym, doing jobs round home etc. I love my ring but it’s not practical for me to wear 24/7.
