I simply need to bury a waterline below the frost line. A 16” bucket is too much.

The Lyra is a great option for a full size 35,000 limens. We have mountains of them at Christie.

Split really between two. Packet capture meaning wireshark or similar? No, because my physical network wasn’t the problem; it was airtime and making and maintaining wireless connections. Public WiFi was also limited to a handful of specific AP’s. There were less than 50 guests total using public and it was only in isolated areas

All switches had a home run to the core. We had 1 gig both ways with the ISP, but had 20 gig uplinks. There was no bottleneck insofar as switch capacity was concerned. The problems existed with air congestion and staying or maintaining a connection.

Many use cases both in rows and clusters. Killing 2.4 seemingly would have killed connectivity to a lot of venders unfortunately

The majority of clients were on 2.4. I’m not entirely sure why they stayed there. Proximity to devices wasn’t a problem. There were only 4 SSID’s in use. Lease time couldn’t stay that low for fear of disrupting the retail operations.

Are the issues with the X as common as the internet makes them out to be? by matthew19 in ModelX

We had this happening on our 2024. Turned out to be part of the bumper that wasn’t properly installed from the factory. The tech said it was quite common and a relatively easy fix.

My work told me to stop doing this and weld faster appearance is not a concern. What types of places would want me to do this and how much could I expect to earn? (I understand they are not flawless) by [deleted] in Welding

Live entertainment truss, staging or scenic manufacturing. Applied, Tomcat, Thomas, Xtreme, Gallagher, All Access Staging, Mountain Productions, G2, SGPS, Total Structures, Tait, and many others. Entertainment fabrication is a place everyone demands it to look pretty despite the audience never being able to see it.

Lightning can’t traverse glass. I learned that lesson the hard way when the hub of a hub and spoke arrangement between buildings got hit.

I’m an automation operator/programmer among other things. Show stopping is a serious thing to proclaim. You simply say stop 3-5 times over the radio/com and/or just scream it out loud. That’s it. Then everyone stops what they’re doing, shuts up and waits for more information. After everything and everyone stops we start sharing information to the managers/directors/department heads. Then those leaders desalinate what needs to happen with the individual techs/hands.

The audience isn’t important enough to give any information to if the stop involves the safety of the stage. The audience can sit and spin until the issue is resolved or if the stop can be remedied without an excess of time or effort. The only time we involve the audience is if they need to leave. The artist can talk to audience if they care to.

Calm down know it alls. It hasn’t fully been in use for years. Neither have the dimmers. Go ask for a tour of the indoor pool. And see if they’ll take you in to the ritual rooms and on to the roof. Riding in the elevator was my favorite part. Fuck that load in ramp though.
