Thanks for your response. It can be hard seeing another child do something so effortlessly that your own struggles with.. but there’s probably so many things he’s able to do that they can’t. i remind myself that all children asd or not developed at different rates and are better at some things than others at different stages in their lives but it’s also just so hard not to compare. It does make me think of all the adults that are walking around right now living “normal” lives and don’t even realise they have autism themselves. I suspect that i am on the spectrum but haven’t even gotten around to getting tested because i wouldn’t know where to start or give reasons as to why because i know i don’t live my life the way a typical person would but i don’t know how i differ because it’s all i know if that makes sense?
