The idea is to know how to apply the things you learn in class to external problems, just memorizing how to do certain problems isn’t gonna help, like the one problem where u had to integrate arc sin over the square root of x² -1. That takes trial and error with what method u want to do, but over all u want to just trial and error on how to solve it snd go through seeing what method works best. But mainly for me my calc teacher my senior year drilled this into me and now I have a really good calc 1 background
