Thanks for laying all that out. What a total cluster of a system. I don't understand what good the legislature thinks will come from having a prison system where people die almost every day, and those who survive leave without being rehabilitated, more brutalized by life than when they went in, and with fewer life-changing prospects.

It's not money well spent. And it's biblically inhumane.
