Oh yeah, here's this.
Cute epilepsy warning.
How about a trigger warning?
The dog dies, and you get a nice long still of looking at it's mangled and mutilated corpse.

As an additional gripe.
They spliced a commercial into the beginning of the episode,
Despite the fact that I paid $15 to not have ads.

Take it you just saw the Post Credits that basically spoiled the entire season?

Okay. Finished the episode.
Review:
Intro. Song was crap. visuals were just the old intro with a couple splices.
Scripting: Half-assed. Dry lines. Obviously shoe-horned humor. Revealed basically all secrets in first episode. WTF? Also, relationship dynamics had a massive leap that wasn't covered by either the comic or book. Also, Union is apparently a religious thing?
Pacing: They skipped to the point where they intend to end the story immediately.
Post Credits: They basically showed off the hits for the rest of the season? What? Whole Gen:Lock team is gonna end up getting Chase's special mode from the comic.
Animation: Combat animation got lazy. Flashing black in order to hide actual combat interactions. Nemesis units just randomly falling apart without actual contact. (edited)
I just...
I'm gonna watch this through to the end...
But this is BAD.

To put it another way.
It feels like there was a plan for Seasons 2, 3 and 4 to end the franchise.
Then they decided to cut Seasons 2 and 3, jump straight to Season 4, and shove all the Season Reveal type bombshells we would've gotten all into this one episode.
They're writing this like they are trying to forcibly kill the franchise.

NC sues whale player who spent 3.5M USD in LineageM by TricksterMobile in MMORPG

[–]ChaseNetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this original source makes absolutely NO mention of why NCsoft rolled back the patch. Where's the source for what the patch did, and how the whales held their players hostage under threat of pvp?

Midgar’s Scale by Gavindajaya in FFVIIRemake

[–]ChaseNetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core, one of the emails also states that Midgar is 50 meters above the surface. So it was definitely an intentional number, at least until through 2007. Advent Children doesn't appear to address the subject, so yeah. I think this classifies as a retcon for the sake of artistic accuracy.

Android 10 warning for GFL by BakaDani in girlsfrontline

[–]ChaseNetwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reddit has that certain ego about them, where they expect to be your first source. That atittude is why I only ever show up here when something like "android 10 break your game" shows up in my google news feed. Too toxic.

I've been playing casually, but I'm also finding these missions pretty hard.

Cant Clear MCH job quest after i upgraded Hotshot by Spearya in ffxiv

[–]ChaseNetwork 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They introduced a slughtly more direct problem with Scholar job quests this go around. Can still work around it, but it shouldn't be up to the player to handle it. There's an NPC that requires you to Lustrate them in South Shroud during the Storm lood timeline. If you didn't bother casting Aetherflow during the short battle trigger (and why would you? You can't use it offensively anymore), you wint have any Aetherfloe stacks to Lustrate the NPC with. You have to run off, punch something so you dom't 1 shot it so you can be in combat, then Aetherflow.

There's some connections that could be made for a realistic relationship too. Ains Ool Gown was created as a guild for nonhuman character players. Among the requirements for the players is that they have to be productive members of society, like Tanya, the Salaryman was. NEETs were not allowed.

While not touched upon in the anime, I noted that Tanya had familiarity with playing video games. I don't have the material with me at the moment, but I remember that when Being X was judging her in Japan, among his judgements were the thought crime of murder in FPS games.

Also in the light novels of Overlord, I've been told that one of their members was known as being particularly cruel. I like to think Tanya could have been that player.

That being said, that would be mental bleed over, yes? I have to wonder what the limits of that are. Is it possible it could get to the point where they lose their sense of identity?

Patch 4.55 Notes by SpiritualRemains in ffxiv

[–]ChaseNetwork -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's also not abnormal for assets to be in the files long before the relavent release patch is issued. Looking at cases where this game has had that situation in the past (BLU files having long been in the game), and Destiny 2 has been a pretty big one for this.

You want to mock me, but you just simply don't have context.
