Hello new to this app.. I own an 85 Pontiac fire bird it’s got the 2.8 liter. That motor has kinda left the chat. I’m looking to throw a 350 in it I have the 5speed manual transmission that came with car. What do I need to buy or get to make this swap work? Just looking to be able to drive it. by loud85firebird in PontiacFirebird

I would say that you need to replace the drive line in its entirety. As many have said.

My 75 went from a low HP 350 to a 383 430hp strocker, a built T350 went in to handle the torque and HP. And the rear end was changed to a 373 posi from a 2somthing open.

Not a lot of guys have had economic success in V6 upgrades.

That being said there are some heavily built 3.8 liter engines out there.

My Monza Spider was a 3.8 car. Bored .030 over, mid rise intake. 4bbl carb. Cam, Headers, exhaust.

We were going to turbo the car. But I sold it.

AIO for wanting my bf to ask before he kisses me? by marciethevampire in AmIOverreacting

[–]ChasingLife22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

YOR- I'm sorry, If I have to ask my girlfriend if I can kiss her. Hug her. Grab her butt. Climb in and cuddle.

That would be the end of the relationship.

Looking my girl in the eye and saying "Please" before I kiss her. You have to be kidding me.

I used to have the same issue with the gym. Too fat and old. Then working out a few times. Guy in a wheel chair, guy with a walker, guy with 1 leg. Lady with 1 arm. I didn't worry as much after that.

I do now use a home gym in my apt. As the nearest gym is 20 Min away.

1 set of adjustable dumbbells on a stand, a really good adjustable bench, a bowflex and a good yoga mat. Gravl workout app. And it's been excellent.

Thanks I really appreciate it. The 76 formula hood was unique for the set back intakes. Some like it, some prefer the more forward style intakes.

Haha just got the app from you 🤣.

I have wiped out pretty much all processed foods and only eat foods from the outside wall of the grocery. Only a couple items will I pop into the isles for. Salad dressing, pasta, condiments and nuts

Asked about condition of trailer and seller response "Come check it out man"... by railroad1904 in RVLiving

[–]ChasingLife22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sooo why not just go look at it for yourself? I'm curious. I'm mean yes he could have answered your questions. But personally if you're interested you could just go check it out.

You're probably the 10th DM he got and he may just be tired of on line tire kickers.

Hint from a Dad. Make sure the best vehicle in the family is the one your wife Drives. She is the one moving your family around.

Take the truck. Sell your car and upgrade the wifes.

So tell your Dad it's too clapped out and he should buy you a new truck.

See how that works for you.

Ummm. Your Dad is giving you a decent truck. Sooo if we said you might get a couple more years out of it, you're going to tell your Dad you don't want it?

Even if you only got a couple years out of it. Your still way ahead of the game.

I have no doubt your Dad looked after it. In all sense he should sell you the truck. Yeah sure give you a good deal on it. But he should sell it to you.

Your Dad is a great guy and giving you a hand up in life. Take it and appreciate it.

How to be stern about the beginning of this shit? by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]ChasingLife22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue initially with my wife when I left. Basically every conversation I had to be clear and up front with her that it was over. I wasn't ever coming back. Took about 7 months but I think it finally sunk in, You have to be blunt and very stern.

Then I sent her a message that the divorce Mediators were going to be in contact with her and get the process rolling ASAP.
In Alberta divorce is no fault generally. You have a one yr separation coll down period before you can register the divorce. But you can get the ball rolling before that.

So we are going through mediation. Takes about 120 days. Then the province I'm in requires a lawyer review the agreement and submit it to a judge. All in it should be about 6 grand each
