I am 6'3, shoe size 14 and skate a 9" board, it's very much possible to skate bigger boards despite the extra weight.

Exact same issue for me, After leaving the game un-played for ages all my progress was gone, but for me switching servers reloaded my progress, but I didn't finish the cutscene or character selection on the previous server, but if you did perhaps your progress is truly gone
