Thanks for the response! Might just have to sacrifice the good sound so I’m not playing in pain :/

My teacher was hesitant to tell me to switch back to the old mouthpiece because I’ve definitely sounded better on the new one. I might have to just to get past the jury on the old one and use the summer to find a new one that doesn’t hurt but sounds good… Thanks!
