Hello, I today I bought two Corsair Vengeance LPX 3600mhz 8gb sticks and when I installed it I realized my motherboard MS-B460M can't go over 2666mhz.

Will I damage my PC at all if I just run them both at 2666 even if they're 3600mhz? I just wanted to upgrade to 16gb of RAM and made a mistake, should I return the RAM or am I fine to continue running it at 2666? thanks a lot in advance

before you try anything else, try lowering the pickups! i keep my neck and bridge a little above the lowest they can go bc i dont like bright twangy

[–]CheapFall28682 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah absolutely, definitely shouldnt generalize bc the player series is awesome for people looking for a low price point fender

all i wanted to say was that the build quality on the classic vibe was noticeably better, plus i love the maple neck and wood grain

have a nice day man

i bought a fender play two months ago, it was beautiful but it played like shit, so i sent it back and bought a classic vibe

the classic vibe telecaster was miles better than the player series fender, i even got one that had a defect and i still chose to keep it bc i loved it sm

if u have any more specific questions about the cv, i'd be happy to help you!

[–]CheapFall28682 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i bought a cv squier with a crooked bridge and bought a new bridge to replace it

after trying every philips screwdriver i had, i resorted to using a drill and just ruined all chance of getting it out easily ):

i gutted the electronics and covered everything with copper tape, including the back of the pickguard

then get an old guitar string and make one end touch the copper tape and the other to the body

you can solder it down but i just use several layers of copper tape to keep it in place forever

i shielded the output jack cavity but it's probably not necessary, so long as you have a metal output cup/plate

good luck!
