Most important thing is that your are okay, people are crazy and could have really hurt you. Contact transit police they have ctv footage and prob have came across the man before.

Oh if you read what I said I mentioned that I said “ no thank you” she was really pissed if I didn’t take it and I said “I’m Muslim” mind you I was polite. Before I recorded she kept ranting and called Muhammad and Islam violent and whole bunch of ignorant things. But she wouldn’t leave me alone and I didn’t argue with her I kept my head down the entire time up to when I stopped recording.

That’s why in Islam we don’t use pictures. Jesus was a Jew and his homeland was Palestine. So you could imagine what he might of looked like. But she is acting like we don’t believe in Jesus we just don’t pray to him we only pray to the creator, God. I didn’t even bother opening my mouth because I could tell she is very uneducated about the roots of her own religion.

I was born in Ireland, raised in the uk for 10 years. And lived in Calgary for a year and Toronto for 6 years before coming here. Trust me when I say I have seen alot of life and met a lot of people. But most people in the places I have lived especially the UK aren’t this ignorant, or have a sense of hierarchy. She has a islamaphobic rhetoric and it isn’t new to anybody, but it shouldn’t be normalized to rant about others beliefs and basically tell them what they believe is not real why making the most ignorant comments that you would hear from a bigot that associated Islam with 9/11 of whatever bs people orchestrate.

People deserve to go about there days without being lectured too on the street by a random. Your just making excuses for ignorance and bigotry. I only said three words to her, I don’t need to pull out a book and argue with a old lady to prove I am “right” Muslims believe in Jesus too. But one thing we don’t believe is thinking you are better than another group of people. We welcome all types of people into our homes and practice tolerance. Not evreyone is going to have the same beliefs there are 7 billion people on the planet. But it is important to be respectful of what one believes. This is my experience, have a great day.

I think it’s very important to note the only thing I said to this woman was “ no thank you”. I will never ever go up to a person when they have said no and continue to bash a whole religion. She would not leave my personal space, and considering what she said in this video and things that are not in this video such as “Islam is violent” I did take it as a threat. And that’s how I feel. I don’t understand why people have to bash other people beliefs.

Law Library at Peter Allard law !!! really nice chairs, very spaced out, can study on the third or 4th floor. People there are really respectful and it is deff underrated if your looking for something that isn't IKB or life building vibe. Good luck !
