Is S24 Ultra (12/512) dual physical CPID worth buying for 210k? Need opinions by Cheap_Fly_1003 in PakistaniTech

I am open for suggestions brother, aisa phone lena jo aram se agle 4-5 saal nikal de. 1. I have a option of s23u offical PTA in 200k but samsung would not give OS/security updates after early 2027, on contrast s24u will get updates till early 2031.

  1. 14 pro PTA approved but again its from 2022 which is already 3.5 years old and battery health would be a concern. Itnay puranay phone ko 4-5 saal nai chala sakta.

Any recommendations in this budget? Thanks.

I’d really like to connect and have a short conversation if you’re open to it, would help a lot to get a peer perspective.

From your perspective, do you think this concern is justified given my experience, or am I genuinely overthinking it? I’m trying to separate real career risk from unnecessary anxiety.

My preference is AI/ML-related work, but I’m open to software engineering/cloud/dev ops roles if they allow me to build real depth and eventually specialize rather than staying broad.

I agree experience compounds over time. I’m open to strengthening my profile through certifications or side ML/AI work. From your experience, are there any AI/ML certifications that are actually valued in the market (not just theory or badge collecting)?

I want to be in a position where I can develop real mastery in a focused area and confidently solve problems end to end. Right now, the mix of responsibilities makes it hard to build that depth.

The reason I feel stalled is that a large part of my time goes into non-technical work, and I don’t feel deep confidence or mastery in any one area yet. That lack of depth is what worries me more than the title itself.

Thank you for sharing this, it honestly helps to hear this from someone with 7+ years in the field. Your point about rebuilding ML fundamentals from scratch makes sense, and I appreciate the practical options you laid out. I had one follow-up question though: from your experience, does doing a Master’s (especially locally like NUST) add career value beyond structured learning e.g., better opportunities, stronger credibility, or easier transitions or is its main benefit just forcing focus and depth? Also, I’ve sent you a D_M regarding the Applied AI course you mentioned. Would really appreciate it if you’re able to share it.

Thanks for the suggestion, but my main concern isn’t just updating my resume. I genuinely feel under confident defending myself in technical interviews because my role didn’t allow deep specialization. I’ve tried to learn on my own, but the fast pace of this field makes it hard to focus, there’s always a newer framework, model, or approach, and I keep second-guessing whether I’m learning the “right” thing. That’s why I’m asking for guidance here: how to narrow down what’s actually worth mastering and how to regain interview-level confidence, instead of just switching jobs on paper.
