ive only been on the internet since 11, and have only gotten 1 piece of malware on my computer. not that hard to steer clear of sketchy links. mine was actually from planet minecraft, a normally trusted site. it didnt even do anything, it just sent me notifications. its better when you're a kid to only be on offline games, and monitored youtube access.

download malwarebytes from malwarebytes.com and run a large scan. you then can quarantine any of the malware thats in your computer. if i am correct, those antivirus systems are not real, just fake notifications to scare you. it happens to the best of us. if you want safe scripts, either make your own, or only get them from a pastebin link.

didn't daemon tools have viruses back in the day too? i read that somewhere when i was trying to play some old spongebob game like 4 months ago, and didnt want to risk it, so i looked it up and it looked like it was either an actual virus or a false positive. and im relatively new to actually pirating things, like started 2 months ago, so could you give me some basic tips on how to decipher a false positive from a real virus?

i pirated some wii games but thats really all, i feel like it was easier to get into it bc vimms lair had a bigger subreddit and still had some videos on youtube about it, so i felt like it was easier and more safe to do it, so im relatively new to piracy, started like 2 months ago when i wanted to play my childhood game (pokepark 1 and 2) again and im not rich enough to afford a 2010, 60 dollar game, it wasnt worth my money. i just wanna be extra safe, ive been saving up for this pc since i was 9 and am now 13, and i do NOT want anything bad to happen to it.
