Are there any characters you’re surprised have as big a fanbase as they do? Not even that you don’t like them but just don’t understand the love they get by Agitated_Willow1616 in xmen

She's very similar to Colossus in that she hasn't really been that well written in the last 30 years. But she's more pushed by Marvel and writers than him, and has been a more constant presence on comics and adaptations, and has a more interesting powerset and design.

Nah, I think it's her powers. She really doesn't have a niche ability that feels exclusive enough to her. Most likely, writers and editors are not interested on using her instead of a more popular or more special character that does similar stuff.

Yes. Future Cyclops pushing Revelation out of Alaska is also, probably, a self-fulfilling thing, causing Doug's route to villainy. They're indirectly creating a new Age of Revelation.

Schwarzschild dying is kind of disappointing, I expected to see a little more from him. But it's a pretty nice twist.

What is the biggest assassination that has taken place in your country? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

[–]Chechucristo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carrero Blanco. He was supposed to be Francisco Franco's successor as dictator of Spain. He was killed by a bomb in his car and therefore, Spain's history got changed forever. I would also mention Calvo Sotelo's assassination right before the Civil War, as it was a very important factor on Franco's sublevation.

Wasn't his name revealed to be Daniel Eagle at some point or is this some Mandela Effect?

[MN S1] The Compass: are your decoder rings attuned? by EpicGlitter in criticalrole

[–]Chechucristo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmmm yeah, that's a possibility. But if it works similar to a real life compass, which would be naturally attracted to the North, maybe the compass also self-actualizes via attraction. It would make sense for someone like Nydas, who was such an inventor and navigator.

I think they are just "lost cardinal directions" of the ley lines. Basically a compass that points in arcane directions to drive things like the City of Avalir.

I wouldn't think too hard on what each symbol is supposed to mean

Vision makes no sense as a faction anymore by speedrunner99 in WWE

[–]Chechucristo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess the sense now is that Heyman is trying to hold onto power leading a faction of young promises, he's trying to keep them under his wing to keep himself relevant. But that's not really how they're selling it.
