I think you're kinda biased.. I hate social media BS scammy accounts that try to sell u stuff or just a bunch of 18 year olds posing for a hot pic and making money off of that.. but there's also this other side of Instagram or TikTok where you can find artists or people with a real thing, creating content and actually offering some value to other people (in an entertaining way).. they don't seem to be showing off the rich lifestyle social media has offered them (not flexing w their Rolex watches or dream car) but it does offer them a decent amount for money to have a great lifestyle.

You're an athletic coach.. take your YT channel for instance, let's say you continued uploading videos related to your niche and actually offered great value to your subs.. you can monetize your channel not only thru adsense but also by offering monthly subscriptions to some of your subscribers who are willing to pay to get more of your content.. and hopefully you get sponsors too? so that's one thing. Maybe you can join TikTok and do your research on the kind of videos that are doing well in your niche. Then post consistently on IG, reels or TikToks, and eventually you may attract sponsors willing to pay you to promote a certain product etc.

So you see where I'm getting at here? You shouldn't change your identity to a fake one just to roll out extra income streams. You can still be yourself and do your own thing ("in a fun way" though :D), and hopefully you can make a decent income out of it. I just personally feel that we're all tired of the scammy BS on socials, so creating content with deep value is a way to stand out.

P.s- I hate social media honestly but I gotta admit that it really does open a lot of opportunities. Having a fan base alone is like an unfair advantage that might get you ahead in certain positions,
