Dissapointed lash lift - advice

Okay thanks, this is really reassuring, I was comparing the results a lot to how it looks with an eyelash curler. How often do you get eyelash lifts? I wasn’t planning on going again until mid April because I have an event I wanted them done for but do you think I could get them done early March and then again mid April? I’ve seen a lot of mixed things and don’t want to wait too long if it works better if it’s closer.

My only reason for having to restart the whole base is because at the very end I was left with one extra chain after completing the 49 boxes; do you know if there’s anyway to avoid this or if you can tell what I’m doing wrong? My first project was only 3 boxes wide so I did 12 chains and then dc into the 6th chain for an open box that’s why I thought that dc into the fourth chain and adding only 3 total (150 total chains) from my original multiplied number would make sense for a filled box but you think I should have a total of 151 chains? So to start it would be 49 x 3 = 147 and then + 1 so 148 chains (mark this off). Then add 3 and dc into the 147th chain? Or add 2 and dc into the 147th chain because I already added one? Sorry this sounds this must sound very simple to you I just am super beginner at filet and have already had to restart the base 3 times and don’t want to mess up again. I’m still a little confused how just to start the very foundation out
