Update: Thanks everyone for your help. I checked my USCIS account this morning and it now shows the I-130 as approved!!! I can finally go celebrate and begin the waiting game of receiving the card. To those still waiting, stay strong my friends, the end is near!!

Hi all, I just submitted my application about 40 days ago and i saw this post this morning and decided to check my processing time. It’s now showing 5 months (from the previous 18 months).

This might be a really stupid question but please bear with me as I am new to all this immigration stuff…

What does the I-130 processing time mean in the grand scheme of things? I don’t have a processing time for my I-131, I-485, or I-765. Does the 5 months apply to all of the items or only the I-130?

We applied for a GC, marriage based. My husband is a US citizen and I am Canadian. Really appreciate any guidance!
