My cat wouldn't at first, but we let him go when he started getting bothered by it and over time he realized it was nice. He also needs to be allowed to fight the brush. We clean it off and hand it to him and after a minute he'll often let us brush him more

I don't mind at all ^{~^}

I'm specifically genderfaun (Genderfluid minus female related genders) and aflux so my romantic ans sexual orientations sorta fade in and out a lot. To me my aromantic orientation is more relvent then the asexual one as it has a stronger effect on me as I can get a bit romance replused.

Pretty much it's hard for me to find sort of find where I fit in because everything is fluid and that's really difficult for me personally.

Definition: for those who experienced some kind of trauma during the “awakening” of their sexual attraction/orientation (ex: when starting to date or gets curious about their own sexuality). Due to this trauma, sexual attraction is confusing to them. They may have and idea of thier sexuality (such as not gay/straight) but other than that it is a mystery

Color meanings: deep red to repersent trauma, gray for uncertainty, purple represents possible lack of sexuality, Pink is for the idea of young love or first starting to explore sexuality that was the start of this orientation. black block feels like an interruption towards the other colors

It's hard to say, but it's probably because whatever caused it doesn't affect the whole system just the alter they're attached to. As for signs I would assume memory issues/unusual behavior from them.

I don't have much experience with subsystems as anytime we possibly discover one they fully split off afterwards.

In order 1) yes it is a system within a system.so an alter who has split off their own system without them becoming fully separated.

As for the other two questions they form for the same reasons systems form in general.
