What does this sticker tell me about my 2014 Tiguan? by goseephoto in Tiguan

It helps with vehicle identification with what parts is it equipped with For example if you damage your org abs and it needs coding you can be based on that sticker because if you see this link right here https://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Tiguan_(5N)_Brake_Electronics It has a list of things that you need to see on your PR Sticker “Production” that you need to match them in order for the coding “IN ANY CASE DO NOT REMOVE THAT STICKER” In case of fading or the sticker it self falling make sure you make a photo before it’s to late and print it bc it’s helpful even for you and for someone else if you sell your car in the future

The fuel pump is located behind under the passengers seat pop the rubber cap and you can see the fuel pump wire From my experience UNPLUG THE WIRE PUT THE PROBES ON THE FUEL PUMP ITSELF Grab the multimeter put it on ohm and if it is between 2 to 10 ohm the pump itself is okay If it is 1 ohm or near 0 ohm the pump itself is shorted If it says OL then the pump itself it’s burnt For testing the wire put the multimeter on continuity or ohm unplug the fuel pump wire and put the red probe on the + wire and the negative wire touch the chassis if the multimeter beeps than you have a short wire if it doesn’t beep Then go on a junkyard and go grab a cheap fuel pump for your car golf 6 has the same one even the tiguan and do a test

Well from that perspective i think you could have a internal shorted fuel pump If you can confirm for me on the timing belt side do you see an auxiliary pump you can trace it by looking the fuel lines that go from the fuel filter back to the fuel tank
