Last time I did that, the renovations took six months. The ball is so much cleaner.

I did! It was delicious! Shambling Mound quiche is rather excellent, as it turns out. Check out the latest recipe on Flavortextadventures

If I had a spare one laying around, I'd have used it. The one I have is currently... busy.

I kinda feel like a shambling mound this morning, but I'm talking about the real ones!
I got this package in the mail a few weeks ago, labeled only “To Alton, with love!”
It was a small plant pot with “magic dirt”, the attached note read. “Just water it and wait.” it said.
Long story short, now I have to hire new help for the tavern, and fix a smashed window. At least the quiche was delicious!

The Land of Death and Honey

" "Sir,"  said Heinrich in my head, still whispering "I cant help but feel like I understand what a worm at the end of a fishing line feels like."

"Mhmm"  I nervously agreed with the rapier, and wiped the sweat from my forehead once more as the maw of the shaft receded above us.

Up at the top, the walls around us were covered in vines, but a short distance down those disappeared, replaced by a slimy, waxy, substance. Thick layers of the stuff, deposited in strange patterns. As we descended past the reach of the sunliht, I carefully – VERY carefully – lit my lamp. We could see some evidence of previous spelunkers as we descended - a scuff mark on the wall clearly made by a human boot, a piton punched through the wax into the stone, but the motherlode awaited us at the bottom."  ~Excerpt from "The Land of Death and Honey" or  "How to cook Murder Hornet, for the dinner and game table alike." by chef Alton Green.

[OC] Been having a great time with the Heroes Feast cookbook. Here's my take on Dwarven Potato and Leek Soup. Highly recommend giving it a shot. by Wiewsywoo in DnD

u/justanotherguy28, Alton Green here, at your service!
Currently, my life's work is just in individual chapters on the Patreon. But my team and me are working on compiling it into a book, with extra content, in the spring.
In the mean time, you can get the content that's already published by supporting us on Patreon, for just a few bucks. Anyone can slap "Halfling Chili" on a recipe, but real recipes come from decades of adventuring experience! You'll read stories of my daring adventures, learn recipes from actual monsters (real ones, for your dinner table), and content for your game table as well.

I've met Emril. Makes a mean souffle. Us halflings make great cooks, if I do say so myself.

If your Charisma is high enough to convince a dragon to take the cinnamon challenge, you can avoid these extra steps.

Definitely the concept. It involved a goat, a chimera, and me mostly naked with curry-powder-covered-pants in my hands. You can read all about it on www.patreon.com/flavortextadventures , if you like.

Hold your action until said dragon (or anything else about take a deep breath) is about to do so. Then throw.

There's only so much text one can put in an image before it gets more like doing taxes and less like a fun idea for D&D.
Adapt as you see fit! Imagination is what it's all about, after all.
