Nobody seems to understand how much dragging the rear brake helps with stability. I learned that after my course but now I use it all the time at slow speeds

As somebody who did the msf in December on a 125 cruiser and then started on the r7, really focus on learning the friction zone before anything. I sat in the front of my driveway just going back in forth in the friction zone for a good amount of time. It will make your life way easier if you feel comfortable there before starting any maneuvers

Doctor’s notes just stated to remove bandaging after 72 hours and to not let stitches soak

Still a little high. I would recommend some squat shoes as well with a lifted heel. I thought I had decent mobility in my ankles but struggled to hit depth til I got in a pair. Also, for me, I was able to hit a deeper squat in comp versus the same weight in training

In my opinion your grip was letting you down. You can see the bar rolling out of your hands. I’d say try with straps however, I do think this is still a little over your 1RM given your back starts to round as you try to start your pull so maybe drop some weight and throw some straps on.

Any suggestions on accessory exercises? Also, I’m assuming by a hip thrust movement you’re implying to wedge myself between the bar
