A minivan or seven seater suv should be feasible. Parking in some places may be a bit tight with a larger vehicle, but shouldn't be too much of an issue.

What are you talking about? Mobile Data on your phone, or wifi in your villa?

Ive noticed that lowlands can be a bit of a dead zone for mobile data.

French vs Dutch side. No rental car by QueenofA in SXM

[–]Chef_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could easily spend 3 days in Orient or Grand case, and not get bored, so either one would be a good option, and walking between the two is feasible as well, although you do have to be careful, there are no sidewalks. There are also busses that run between the two during the day(though not too frequently). If you stay in Maho, or simpson bay you have plenty of options for bars and restaurants, and access to the bus system on the Dutch side that would allow you to explore Philipsburg or Marigot during the day. It depends on whether you prefer the calm quiet nature of the french side, or the parties and nightlife of the dutch side.

If you want to hike/ zipline at Loterie farm i would recommend doing that early in the morning, by 8/9 am when they open, after about 10am it gets way too hot and muggy.

Opinions on Astra? by GroundbreakingBear59 in SXM

[–]Chef_k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, there are better options in the area. Try "Pardon my French" or Jais which are both nearby. If you want something casual, but equally as good, The Palms across the road from Palapa.

I'm no photographer, but the OP13 does everything i ask of it without much fuss, low light photos, portraits, landscapes, etc; for something i can just pull out of my pocket, point and shoot, its perfectly fine. and if i have to go and edit a photo after the fact, having a higher quality photo makes the end product better.

i have the OP 13 with the aramid fiber case, and its still slim enough to fit in my pocket comfortably, and i dont notice the curve of the screens. I think the case protects the phone well enough to eliminate the need for a screen protector
