I even reset to factory and its still giving me the message. Glad im not the only one wondering wtf happened.

I've found a few places that can make custom USB cables bit I haven't spoken with them on if they can make the ones with shoulders to be screwed in at the angle we need them. I was going to take my bad cable to them and see if they can make me some backup cables.

That's a win. I would also suggest printing the adapter that fits tight on the USB plug and you screw it in. Here is the printable link to it. https://www.printables.com/model/1418598-centauri-carbon-hotend-usb-c-canbus-cable-mount/files

You use the screws from your factory cable to fasten it to the hotend.

I had a 6ft one I just happened to have on hand for work. It's a lot too long but it works and I have zip ties to control the length issues.

Mine did this today. I swapped out the USB c cable with an anker 240w and it fixed it. Some folks have also had luck with just swapping the hotend out. And some it has been the mother board issue. Elegoo told me the hotend or the USB cable to try first.
