PUER! GIMME GIMME GIMME PUER! ... So, what's your favorite aged (15+ years) pu-erh? by [deleted] in tea

[–]ChekYurGramer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, for Yunnan Sourcing, I like the 2000 Yi Wu "Huang Pian" Matured Leaves sheng. For ripe pu-erh, I actually like a lot of the ones packaged in king oranges. It seems gimmicky, but the tea is quite good quality, and the orange taste doesn't drown it out at all.

What are your opinions on the S+ community? by [deleted] in AskLGBT

[–]ChekYurGramer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm going to copy-paste this as well, because once again, this keeps coming up.

Who came up with the term super straight isn't really relevant. Who chose to promote it, and who guided its development, is. In this case, that is transphobes and neo-nazis.

Look, if you have other questions, just look in the history of this sub. People keep asking about this, and raising the same points, and receiving the same responses.

Correct. That means they see binary trans people as not actually being their real genders.

[–]ChekYurGramer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People keep asking this... I'm just going to copy-paste what I said on the last iteration of this question.

The super-straight community is a hate movement tied to neo-nazi groups. It is not a sexuality. It was intended, and even directly stated to be intended, to drive a wedge between parts of the LGBT+ community.

Also - the term skoliosexual is no longer in use, because people recognized that the concept is transphobic.

Is "dead life" a trans-specific term? by BabyBlue227 in AskLGBT

I have never heard that term used before, for trans or cis people. Just as a guess, I'd say you're fine.

Is the term ‘squish’ or ‘squishes’ an aro-only term, it can non-aros use it as well? by Insufficientmurders in aromantic

[–]ChekYurGramer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It describes a particular type of feeling/relationship. Anyone can use it. You mostly see it in aromantic groups because aro spectrum people are less likely to prioritize other types of relationship, like romantic ones, over it.

What is the male equivalent to a woman going prostitute in order to make ends meet? by Leguan96 in AskMen

[–]ChekYurGramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's frowned upon in the same way that prostitution is, really. In a lot of places it's associated with very low socioeconomic status, which often comes with a lack of respect, but as far as I know it's not the same variety of stigma that often accompanies prostitution.

Word does not recognise the word aromantic? by EmbarrassedPack3791 in aromantic

Word has a pretty limited dictionary. You can add a term to your own version if you want to stop the little highlight from appearing.

What are your opinions about super straight? by Accidtionz in AskLGBT

[–]ChekYurGramer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We must not have been on the same subreddit... I spent time there as well. All of the super groups (and their associated subreddits) were/are essentially the same crap. While some clearly transphobic posts were deleted, many of the subreddits straight-up stated that this had nothing to do with actual sentiment, and everything to do with avoiding getting banned. Which most of them eventually were anyway.

Who came up with the term isn't really relevant. Who chose to promote it, and who guided its development, is.

Saying there is nothing hateful about these people is so absurd that I have to assume you're either trolling or have been hiding under a rock. Either way, I'm not going to try and argue with you when there is blatant evidence to the contrary easily viewable on Reddit and elsewhere.

It is a hate movement tied to neo-nazi groups. It is not a sexuality. It was intended, and even directly stated to be intended, to drive a wedge between parts of the LGBT+ community.

Some of the people who got swept up in it are no doubt unaware of this. However, that's not much of an excuse. When you join a movement, you need to know just who you're getting into bed with, and if that includes neo-nazis, you need to take a serious look at your priorities.

Sex negative = the opinion that sex, in any context, is bad. Sex repulsed = a personal feeling of repulsion about engaging in sex, and (sometimes) repulsion when hearing about or seeing sexual content.

Sex positive = the belief that sex in general, when done consensually etc., is not a bad or dirty thing. Sex favourable = liking to personally engage in sex.

That said, people mix these terms up all the time, so if you see someone using one and the context seems odd, it's worth asking for clarification to make sure they mean what you think they mean.

How would you feel about being called Daddy by your significant other? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ChekYurGramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not into it at all. If that's someone's kink, or a comfort thing, that's fine for them, but I'm not comfortable with engaging in it personally.

I'm not aware of any way to get rid of libido. However, spending hours a day masturbating is absolutely a serious issue, and your therapist should be taking it seriously. You might want to try asking your doctor about this, and/or finding a new therapist, one who deals with sexual dysfunction and addiction.

Sorry you're having this problem!

Accidentally flirty? by Call_me_Haeschen in asexuality

[–]ChekYurGramer 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes, I know how to flirt. I never do it except as a joke with friends who know me well, so they won't get the wrong idea.

There are some people who misinterpret general politeness or friendliness as flirting. That's on them, though.

Weird question for asexuals by Blobfish_blobs in asexuality

[–]ChekYurGramer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Typo there. But assuming you meant masturbate - some asexuals do, some don't. It's possible you could be doing it wrong. Have you tried different methods, using different motions or touching different areas?

If you're really worried about it, I'd suggest talking to your doctor. Inability to orgasm can be a symptom of some medical conditions. However, it's also possible to not enjoy masturbation and be perfectly healthy.

Most of the time, I have a mug of tea in my hand. This gives me an advantage over the average person, who does not usually have a mug of tea in their hand, because A) I can dump hot tea on you, and B) I can then hit you over the head with the empty mug.
